DENVER BALL MILL

1 - DENVER 4' x 6' Ball Mill, with bull gear and pinion. Formerly with V-belt 50 HP drive motor; chute feed and trunnion overflow. Unit has 17 tooth pinion gear jack shaft with 5' diameter Broken drive shieve and Pillow Block Bearings for Jack Shaft need to be replaced. ; 100 teeth on bull gear, 8in wide; gear is two-piece, O.D. 74-1/2 - 75in. Shell Flange that attaches the shell to the bull gear has 12 bolt holes. Shell is in fair condition and has several patches. At the Bull Gear side of the shell, there is bulging at the flange which runs the circumference for approx. 36in. Shell and heads are one piece and do not unbolt. Trunnion journals show some grooving on both sides of the mill. Bull Gears 30%-40%, Pinion 50%-60%, Liners 60 to 65%, Nihard or steel. Imprinted on shell: 410567. NOTE: Missing Trunnion Bearing Assembly including the Sole Plate for one side. Have one complete assembly for the other side. Babbitt Bearing surface willl have to be repoured on Trunnion bearing base.
